Do's
- Only leave biodegradable items in the waterways; Specifically, only flower petals and leaves.

- Donate fabrics used in rituals and also clothing and other belongings of departed loved ones, rather than leaving them in the waterway or at the Cremation Ashes Disposition Sites.
- Recycle food and food items used as offerings at your home.
- Place all Plastics, aluminum foil and other such items in your recycling bins at your home.
- Dispose of broken Murties and other religious artifacts in consultation with your Priest and in accordance with family traditions.
- Dispose of Cremation Ashes in running water and the related packaging in the garbage bins at the Cremation Ashes Disposition Sites, or at your home.
Dont's
- Do not pollute the waterways by disposing of items that are non-biodegradable.
- Do not leave broken Murties, religious artifacts, plastic containers, aluminum foils or utensils at the Cremation Ashes Disposition Sites or in the waterways.
- Do not leave any form of garbage or remnants from rituals in the in the waterways or Cremation Ashes Disposition Sites.
- Do not leave any fruits (e.g. bananas, coconuts, limes, etc.) in the waterways or Cremation Ashes Disposition Sites.
- Do not leave leave the cremation ashes container / packaging in the waterway or at the Cremation Ashes Disposition Sites.
